Antique 19c Silver German Cup Marked 12 Loth

This is a lovely 19. Century silver cup or beaker.

The body of the cup is engraved within a central floral cartouche with the owners initials B v B flanked by engraved images of a women on horseback and a man hold a falcon or hawk on horseback. The underside of the base in marked 12 loth silver From the appearance of the word silver, I believe this was added at a later date to clarify the term 12 loth.
