Up for sale is a very unusual decorative item. It is a curved faux horn capped with a heavy sterling overlay.
The silver end is highlighted by a flat oval end with a beautifully executed monogram, "RWE" in elaborate, fancy script. The sterling ends in a raised, rope like, swirling base with "Sterling" and a maker's hallmark above. The number 123 is also designated. There is a brass button below the silver as shown in several photos. This one of a kind American desk piece makes a distinctive statement.
