English Sterling Silver Tea Pot With 18th Century Marks Of Louisa Courtauld

   This is a rare and unusual Sterling Silver Tea Pot with the English 18th Century marks of Louisa Courtauld. It has bone finial and handle. It may have rested on a burner at one point but only a thought. Measures 4 inches tall by 4.5 inches wide. Her ongoing success was due in part to her ability to adapt to changing times. Although she originally established the firms reputation with silver in the French Rococo style, she shifted production to more restrained Neoclassical designs as they came into vogue.
