A beautiful Art Nouveau style sterling silver magnifying glass, possibly American antique. Handle features lady goddess figure and crossed lily flowers. 5"l x 2"w, total weight approx. In fair antique condition, displaying general wear commensurate with age/use, including a couple tiny imperfections to the glass lens, heavy tarnish and surface scratches to the sterling, and a dent to the woman's chest on one side of the handle - see pictures.
Handle is marked on both sides, on diamond between lily stems, STERLING. " Lens' sterling frame is also stamped with an unidentified maker's mark, which appears to read "VS Sterling with a snake forming the VS.
