This is a lovely collectible pair of vintage beaut ifully engraved Sterling Silver stirrups made by Diablo Silversmiths of California in clean well maintained vintage pre-owned condition. These stirrups are 2 inches wide and in lightly used pre-owned condition with some minor dings and scratches, mostly at the edges of the sterling silver fronts and monel backs, and light wear to the inside treads as shown by the close up photos. The condition of these vintage stirrups is very good considering these stirrups have real STERLING fronts, not overlay, which is a softer metal than overlay. Real Sterling stirrups usually show quite a bit of damage due to the softer metal scratching and denting easily. Newer Diablo stirrups were marked Sterling Overlay, making these stirrups very rare and difficult to find offered for sale.
