Marked Native American Navajo Kings Manassa Turquoise Sterling Silver Bracelet
CALVIN MARTINEZ NAVAJO KING'S MANASSA TURQUOISE BRACELET. This extraordinary cuff is by legendary Navajo silversmith Calvin Martinez. A breathtaking specimen of King's Manassa turquoise relaxes in a solid bezel, framed and hand stamped border.
This fabulous bracelet will be a cherished addition to your collection of fine Native American jewelry. The Manassa turquoise mine produces an incredibly wide range of colors and qualities, from deep emerald greens to deep sky-blue. The best stones feature a rich golden-brown matrix with some spider-webbing.
The mine is not currently active, so Manassa turquoise is quite rare on today's market. Interior of the cuff measures 2 1/4" with an additional 1 1/4" non-adjustable gap. Measures 3 straight across the widest part (from wrist bone to wrist bone).
Bracelet face measures 2 wide (the face of the bracelet, north to south). MTZ, for Calvin Martinez (Navajo). Receipt dated June 8, 1992.
