Massive Sterling Ring Reverse Briolette Smoky Quartz & Tsavorite 31g Sz 6 Signed. I mean this in all the right ways... But, his ring is absolutely ridiculous! It is an extraordinary ring with it's massive reverse mounted briolette cut smoky quartz protruding out like a bullet. It's an exceptionally well cut fancy pointed briolette stone and is the perfect smoky brown tone. The whole ring from the outer point of the stone to the back of the band is 52.8mm, 26mm of which is the briolette. This unconventional centerpiece is surrounded with a halo of 2.1mm diameter round cut tsavorites. Smoky quartz and all tsavorites tested with Presidium Gem Tester II. Floral scrollwork adorns the very chunky tapered band. Appropriately solid, well made and a heavy 31 grams for size 6. An extraordinary design to say the least. It is stamped 925 and has at least two undetermined faded maker's marks.
I believe they say Sarda and MariAnn, but can't confirm that. It's peculiar eye-catching and distinct, but remains exquisite, elegant and fashionable. It's one of the most remarkable statement rings I have ever seen and it is in fantastic condition with only very very minor signs of wear.
