Vintage Sterling Charm Bracelet 24 Silver Charms Travel Enamel Shield All Marked
Vintage sterling silver charm bracelet 8-1/2 long loaded with 24 vintage travel enamel shield charms made of silver and with silver purity metal marks. Pretty blend of colors; unusual areas. Good condition as old, used jewelry, not new or mint. Small dings, scratches and rubs, if any wear at all. Symbols and scenes easily discerned.
Bracelet is a rolo link style with lobster clasp, marked 925. Most charms are for European countries and city destinations with enamel image mostly depicting heraldry (coat of arms, family crest) or flags.
In exception, there is a charm for Munich Olympic game; places represented by famous landmarks (the Colosseum in Rome, Pantheon in Athens); or idyllic images of the destination (Oberammergau with mountains and cross). Some images that are part of the coat of arms and just unfamiliar to me (such as the monk for Munich). All charms are marked for precious metal silver content. Two charms marked 830 or 835 silver, Four charms marked 925 (sterling) or 950 silver. All others are 800 silver. Some charms are also marked by the maker , including REU Fritz Reu and Co.
