One of a kind Santa Barbara Cheek Inlay/Filigree sterling silver Tapia Style show bit in unused condition. 3 1/2 tall spade mouth piece. Solid Cheek, beautiful hand engraving with lots of silver: inlays, filigree, channels and buttons make this a very special bit. Maker marked "Paulino Aguilar Since 1954". Paulino's workshop built bits for several brands including Les Garcia, Diablo manufacturing, Fleming, BC-Mex, etc. Pictures of his work have been included in the Ned and Jody Martin Collectors Book. These beautiful pieces are a good example of the craftsmanship this family of makers has passed along for generations. Mouth Piece (measured between cheeks) 5 1/8. Cheek Pieces 7 1/2 long.
