Panetta Ring Sterling Vermeil Silver Faux Pearl & Rhinestones Maker Marked

  
A stunning ring, fit for a queen, from the well known and loved Panetta designer. It is marked STERLING, gilded gold, or Vermeil.

MAKER'S SIGNED: PANETTA Benedetto Panetta a native of Naples Italy in 1901, was designing mostly limited edition, one of a kind pieces after opening up his own shop in 1945. And after working for Trifari and other companies, and gets credit for inventing high end, well designed costume jewelry using some precious metals jewelry. Like platinum, silver and gold. Not dated, but because of the "Sterling" mark, it dates before 1973.

I do know that the person that owned it probably got it around 1965. CONDITION: VINTAGE, I see no missing pieces. The raised center circle of rhinestone. With the faux pearl moves a little as it is on a stable post, attached to the back. The way it was designed.
