For the discerning collector of fine Art Deco jewelry. This is a rare, large and regal looking Art Deco sterling silver pin/pendant with deep rich, fiery garnets and studded with marcasite stones.

The bale on the back of the jewelry is for use as an enhancer/pendant. The top of the pin/pendant has 3 genuine garnets -an oval shaped center stone surrounded by 2 round garnet stones. 2 marquis shaped garnets at the sides of the pin/pendant.

A pear shaped garnet is at the bottom of the pin. The garnets are excellent quality, true deep sparkling red. Signed Sterling with a maker's mark that appears to be a pictograph. The pendant/pin measures 2 1/2" high and 1 1/4" at its widest point. The sterling bale is 1/8" high with an less than 1/8" opening that will fit most chains (it would not accommodate a thick omega).
