Bracelet at bottom appears to be green apple jadeite. Our goal is HAPPY CUSTOMERS! We sell used sterling silver jewelry from many makers, styles and eras. Many sterling silver items have a tarnish resistant coating or are plated with gold. That is why we verify sterling safely!

Our silver is NEVER tested by direct acid application. Instead, we use a black stone and scratch test in an inconspicuous area using 18K acid testing solution. The acid is applied to the mark on the stone which then turns a happy blue color! Only silver will do this. Customers will find 95-99% of sterling items contain the 925 or Sterling mark.

A small percentage will be handcrafted items or older vintage items which are not marked. We may sell Native/ethnic lots where many do not have silver marks. These are tested using our safe process. Marked items will often contain stones, beads or other metals, but all will always contain sterling silver where marks are present. If you verify your sterling, PLEASE DO NOT PLACE ACID DIRECTLY ON THE JEWELERY, use a stone when you verify.

This is the best way to preserve the non-tarnish coating where it exists. It also prevents misreading a fine sterling piece as non-sterling. If something is mismarked, or is not sterling as marked, that is an error! We ask that you let us know so we can address properly. Our GOLD jewelry is always safely verified with KEE GOLD TESTER.

Because stones are difficult to tell natural from synthetic, we make no guarantees. Diamonds are tested with DIAMOND SELECTOR II, other than that we rely on our experience to identify stones. As always, we appreciate your business!
