Silver multi stone link bracelet from Taxco Mexico, oft hailed as the silver capital of the world due to the beauty of the sterling art produced. This piece lives up to expectations, with stones of malachite, what I think are carnelian and jasper, lapis lazuli, and onyx. Mexico adopted this hallmark style in the late 1970s, where the first letter stands for the city in which the artist lived, the second the first letter of the craftmans last name. Total weight including charm - 3.1oz. Measures approximately 7 3/4" long, approx 5/8" wide. Charm approx 5/8"x 1 1/4" wide. Marked Mexico and either SSilver or Silver. Dont know if if was stamped twice or if was meant to read SSilver. Looking at other listings gave me the name of the link - Cuban or curb. It's heavy and in excellent condition.
