Stamped with Eagle 3 for Taxco. Hector Aguilar opened his first workshop in Taxco in 1939 and the renowned TALLER BORDA in 1948. As Hougart tells us: Many individuals who worked for Aguilar and perfected their skills in his shop are recognized... MM probably re-created this ICONIC AGUILAR DESIGN while a working silversmith in Aguilar's workshop. It's a BEAUTY and definitely captures the ELEGANCE of Aguilar's incredible design. This BRACELET measures about 7.5" from end to end1.5" wide.
It weighs about 2.4 ounces or a bit over 68 grams. Photos demonstrate the exceptional workmanship, so please look at them carefully. Condition is excellent vintagea few small dents on the balls, but so small they are invisible to the naked eye. LOVELY to WEAR and makes a STATEMENT! NICE patinaand a wonderful piece of the HISTORY of the MEXICAN SILVER RENAISSANCE inspired by William Spratling following the Revolution of 1910.
