   RARE GEORGIAN SILVER PINT TANKARD 1749 MARKS CANCELLED BY LONDON ASSAY OFFICE. Very nice item offered in good general condition considering age. The tankard doesnt sit 100% flat and the top is a little mis shapen but generally very good and pleasing with none of the usual knocks and dents. There is also a monogram. The tankard is just shy of a full pint approx 540ml. Unusually the hallmarks have been cancelled out by the London assay office who have found some kind of problem with it either it has been changed or the hallmark wasnt 100% correct please make your own mind up.
