English Sterling Silver Rattail Round End Spoon Hallmarked CL Henry Clarke Date-marked 1712. Presented is a fantastic English sterling silver rattail table or serving spoon with a round end handle with a short from mid-drib and no monogram.
This elegant piece has a full front midrib with only some pin-prick dings, some tip ware and some light scratches from gentle use and care. It is an excellent piece for the collector of fine antique silver. I have an interesting assortment of items listed so please look at my other auctions. Measure : 7 7/8" inches long, 1 5/8" widest across bowl. Weight : 1.7 ounces on my postal scale or 47 grams. Marks : Hallmarked for English sterling silver made in London by Henry Clarke with a date-mark for silver made in 1712. Condition : some pin-prick dings, no monogram and some light scratches from gentle use and care.
