Beautiful, vintage Navajo (in style at least, as I have no documentation) turquoise and silver squash blossom necklace. This quality piece contains 15 fabulous chunky Kingman turquoise handset stones, including five graduating squashes on each side on a double bead strand. Surrounding the stones are silver leaves and silver tubes. See pictures for exact appearance. The massive double silver shank naja pendant (crescent-shaped piece) measures 4" X 4".

On the back is a stamped "J". There are no other identifying stamps. This necklace weighs in at 314 grams (more than 11 ounces). The size is slightly over 24 length around the neck. Resting throughout the entire necklace are amazing round silver beads, each stamped with sunburst?
Patterns (174 total 1/4 beads), and double-stranded to hold the blossoms. Necklace has a traditional silver hook clasp.


This necklace has remarkable old natural patina. No damage or evidence of repairs.
I have not attempted to clean/polish; it is exactly as I acquired it. Pictures are included as part of the description.
