Large unusual sterling silver pendant in the shape of a horse and rider. A three dimensional piece, although hollow, a heavy pendant. It seem to test for sterling silver, but may be of a lower Dutch standard. Although hollow, it is a cast piece not a moulded piece, as there is a hole at the rear of the horse. I think lost wax casting, and the rider has probably been made separately to the horse. Just guessing all of this, trying to give my thoughts on the quality and manufacture of the piece. The pendant measures 33 x 50 x 10 mm, 1 3/8" x 2" x 7/16 including the substantial bale.
