Art deco era large butterfly wing sterling silver brooch / pin. This lovely piece features vibrant blue colors. These pieces have also been called blue morpho because of the iridescent quality.
The metal was tested as sterling. Original estate patina - may need to be cleaned or polished. Age: estimated circa 1920's.
Hallmarks: it is marked SWD & Co. This is an unknown makers mark, probably English as most of these pieces were made in England. It is not marked sterling, but as mentioned was tested.
