An extremely hard-to-find early piece of jewellery by renowned maker Ola Gorie. Made in sterling silver, this is a brooch in her famous and very recognisable'Skara Brae' design. The reverse is stamped'SILVER', along with the very rare'OLA' mark.

This dates the brooch to the very start of her jewellery making - between 1959-63. Her more familiar'OMG' mark was not registered until 1963. The pin and catch work fine without any problems. Please see all photos to establish condition and size for yourself.
