Vintage Margot De Taxco Eagle Mark #5241 Sterling Silver Link Bracelet. This stylish mid-century Margot de Taxco bracelet has six domed links with palmettes inside of hearts, graceful leafy scrolls with volutes at the bottom of each heart, and pairs of chunky oval jump-ring connectors.
Beautifully made, the links are matched in a base-to-base orientation with the large oval jump-rings connecting them through the scrollwork, and there is a 4 3/8-inch safety chain, and a pair of curved prongs at the clasp that give the illusion of matching jump-rings when the bracelet is closed, a nice touch that illustrates the meticulous nature of the designer's approach. In excellent condition, marked "Made In Mexico Sterling, " and "Margot De Taxco, " with the style number "5241" and an "eagle 16" mark, the bracelet measures 6 1/2-inches in wearable length, 7/8-inches wide and weighs 38.7 grams.
