This pattern was made beginning in 1895, by the GORHAM SILVER COMPANY, in the CHANTILLY Pattern. CHANTILLY is a very solid, heavy pattern, and quite sought after. The set , minus the 6 stainless steel & sterling knives, weighs approx. The entire set would likely weigh approx.

This set has been artfully monogrammed, with the letter "R" and is in excellent , shiny condition. This is a market fresh estate set, recently acquired from an heir to its original owner. The set does not have a flatware box. The set has been in a storage, unused for decades.

The knife blades are shiny , clean stainless steel- see pictures. All of the pieces have the very early Gorham mark-see picture, and have been beautifully monogrammed with the capital letter "R". The pieces include: 6 dinner knives-9 ", 6 dinner forks- approx 7", 10 salad or dessert forks-6 1/2", 9 teaspoons-6 ", 6 round bowl cream soup spoons 6 1/4", 6 solid silver individual butter spreaders-6", 4 long iced teaspoons-7 1/2", a master butter spreader-7", 2 large table serving spoons-8 1/2", and 1 large pierced meat fork-9".
