Very rare and stunning example bearing the Chantilly mark on the base but possibly an imitation from a different factory. The rim is solid sterling silver and shows French hallmarks, this would have been added later and is not original to the plate. Asian style hand painted decorations inspired by Japanese Kakiemon porcelain as well as having some Chinese influence. It measures 9 3/8 in diameter and is in perfect condition with no damage only the slightest amount of wear from age. Chantilly by Gorham sterling silver all silver fish server. This is in very good antique condition with no damage or monograms. This is solid sterling silver. We just very lightly shined this up. There is some normal scuffing and dimpling on the blade consistent with age and use. It could be buffed out if you wanted to make it look like new.
