Set of 8 Georgian Silver Dessert Forks. A particularly handsome set of 8 Georgian silver dessert forks. In Hanovarian pattern with an attractive bright-cut border. Made in 1784, these pieces feature the seldom seen incuse duty mark. In this case the duty marks are particularly fine, crisp and deeply struck. The forks themselves also of excellent quality and gauge throughout (average over 40g each). A lovely set of forks. In good antique condition with expected wear. Minor dings, scratches and surface wear throughout. Normel weat to the tines. Hallmarks are clear and legible.

   This listing is for 4 (four) Sterling Silver Berry Forks in Towle's Georgian pattern. These berry forks are marked on the back with the Towle hallmark and STERLING PAT. These exact Berry Forks are pictured in the 1899 Towle Georgian catalog. I have scanned in that page and included it in the photos section. It's on the left hand side of the page.
