Cut glass compote with a sterling silver base. Glass has a nice crystal "ring" to it. Marked on the bottom of the sterling base.
18 pwts to the ounce. 2 ounces of sterling in the base.
I think this piece is Hawkes Co. Size is four and one half inches tall, seven and half inches across the top of the piece.
