   THIS LOT IS FOR A FIGURAL DUTCH STERLING ACTUALLY. 930 FINE SILVER WINDMILL WAGER CUP MADE IN 1896. IT HAS BOTH DUTCH AS WELL AS ENGLISH LONDON IMPORT MARKS FOR 1896. THESE CUPS WERE USED FOR A DRINKING GAME WHERE YOU HAD TO SPIN THE WINDMILL BLADES AND DOWN THE LIQUOR BEFORE THE BLADES STOP SPINNING. THE CUP IS IN EXCELLENT ORIGINAL CONDITION AND WITH NO MONOGRAM AND A GREAT PATINA. IT MEASURES 6 AND WEIGHS 3 TROY OUNCES. Check out my other items - opens in a new window or tab. 1828 Dutch Silver Tea Caddy Jacobus Carrenhoff DIEMONT ICH. Hand Hammered 1828 Silver Dutch tea caddy by Jacobus Carrenhoff. I believe Diemont was the retailer. Tea caddy measures 4 inches tall and sits on ball feet. There is a keyhole but no key mechanism was ever installed. Nice early piece clearly marked.
