Set of 8 Georgian Silver Dessert Forks. A particularly handsome set of 8 Georgian silver dessert forks. In Hanovarian pattern with an attractive bright-cut border. Made in 1784, these pieces feature the seldom seen incuse duty mark. In this case the duty marks are particularly fine, crisp and deeply struck. The forks themselves also of excellent quality and gauge throughout (average over 40g each). A lovely set of forks. In good antique condition with expected wear. Minor dings, scratches and surface wear throughout. Normel weat to the tines. Hallmarks are clear and legible.

4 Vintage Reed & Barton Francis 1st Sterling Silver Oyster Forks. Marked Eagle-R-Lion Sterling and Pat. Approximately 5 1/2 inches long. Total weight approximately 75 grams. They have some age-related use/wear with light surface scratches and patina/tarnish. All the Francis 1st Sterling that I have listed originally belonged to my wife's grandmother.    A set of 6 Gorham sterling forks in the Hindostanee pattern. Total weight is about 259 grams and they measure approximately 7 1/8 long. I believe this is an early Gorham mark dating to circa 1900. There's some tarnish, scratches, scuffing and a few nicks on the silver. Someone must have used something slightly abrasive to clean at some time in the past and several forks have light scratching as pictured in the magnified photos(pics 8,9,11).
