Set of 8 Georgian Silver Dessert Forks. A particularly handsome set of 8 Georgian silver dessert forks. In Hanovarian pattern with an attractive bright-cut border. Made in 1784, these pieces feature the seldom seen incuse duty mark. In this case the duty marks are particularly fine, crisp and deeply struck. The forks themselves also of excellent quality and gauge throughout (average over 40g each).
A lovely set of forks. In good antique condition with expected wear. Minor dings, scratches and surface wear throughout. Normel weat to the tines.
Hallmarks are clear and legible.
