   Up for your consideration is this wonderful, vintage/antique Egyptian silver bracelet! It is made from hand forged silver, and has a large scarab at the center flanked by an ankh and another smaller scarab at each side. The ankhs are covered with Egyptian hieroglyphs. The face of this bracelet (north to south at the central scarab) measures 1 1/2. It has an inside circumference of approximately 7 3/4" and has a adjustable gap of 1 1/4". This is a very nice and rare piece of antique York sterling silver. Not only does it have the town mark stamped on (which is uncommon for flatware), it also includes the very rare capital Q version of the date letter for 1827. This piece has been exhibited in the UK. Three Centuries of York exhibition in 2000. There has been some strengthening to where the blade and handle join. It looks classically provincial in its simplicity.
